Ultrasound or OB/GYN
If you do not already have and OB/GYN that you visit, McDowell Pregnancy Care Center will provide a referral to one in your community. It is very important that you remain healthy whether you are pregnant or not. The fact that you are sexually active means you should have regular visits to make sure there are no problems or complications.
An OB/GYN can provide an ultrasound of your baby if you would like to determine the sex. Ultrasounds are also scheduled regularly during your pregnancy for preventative measures and to monitor the development of your baby.
If you are contemplating your options and would like to have an ultrasound without visiting a doctor, we can arrange for you to have one at another crisis pregnancy center that has the equipment and trained personnel to correctly administer a fetal ultrasound.
